Description

This law defines who qualifies for refugee status on Malian territory, sets out the conditions under which status is acquired and lost, and prescribes the procedures for admission, recognition and review of refugee applications by the Minister responsible for Territorial Administration. It also empowers the Minister to issue implementing decrees and permits judicial review when new elements arise or upon request by interested parties, including the UNHCR.
