Description

The Ethiopian Investment Commission, in collaboration with the Ministry of Trade and Industry and the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, has issued this Directive with a view to adopt a a robust working procedure that allows the Commission, in collaboration and coordination with the relevant organs, to monitor, supervise and support whether expat employees issued with work permits are actually serving in authorized work positions and within the specified enterprises in compliance with the relevant rules and regulations. As per article 3/2 of the Directive, it shall also be applicable to refugees in accordance with the Refugees Proclamation No 1110/2019.
