Description

The Directive is issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA). The preferential rights granted to Foreign Nationals of Ethiopian Origin are also extended to other categories of foreign nationals owing to their special tie with Ethiopia. These include foreign nationals of members of the Ras Tafarian Community living in Ethiopia. ome of the rights in the 1951 Refugee Convention and the Refugees Proclamation set in comparison to the rights of national and/or foreigners.The Directive would be relevant to interpret the rights of refugees vis-à-vis the Ras Tafarian Community living in Ethiopia.
