Description

The Federal Urban Job Creation and Food Security Agency has adopted the Directive with the objective of coordinating the fragmented services and interventions to address the problem of returnees. The adoption of this Directive has made it possible to accommodate returnees in small and micro enterprises. It is contended that inspiration can be drawn from this Directive to further expand the opportunity for refugees to participate in Small and Medium Enterprises as envisaged in the 2019 Refugee Proclamation. However, this calls for amendment of the existing directive.
