This is the primary legal framework governing all aspects of immigration in Indonesia. 

This Law has been revised for the third time, known as Law Number 63 Year 2024 on the Third Revision of the Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 6 Year 2011 on Immigration

This Law does not contain provisions on handling of refugees and asylum seekers.
