Description

 The objectives of this Act is to implement the Convention Relating to the Status of Refugees, 1951, Protocol Relating to the Status of Refugees, 1967, Organisation of African Unity Convention Governing the Specific aspects of refugee problems in Africa, 1969, 1954 Convention Relating to the Status of Stateless Persons, and other treaties and conventions in relation to refugees, migrants, asylum seekers, and internally displaced persons, which are ratified and domesticated by Nigeria.  This Act applies to matters relating to refugees, migrants, asylum seekers, and internally displaced persons.
