Description

The Regulation establishes the detailed rules and procedures necessary to operationalize Japan’s Immigration Control and Refugee Recognition Act. 

Note: The Regulations were amended on 12 March 2025 (date of promulgation) by the Ministry of Justice Ordinance No. 34 of 2025, Ministerial Ordinance Partially Amending the Ordinance for Enforcement of the Immigration Control and Refugee Recognition. This Japanese version is the most up-to-date in force (as of August 2025). However, there is no official English translation of the amended Act available as of August 2025.
