Description

The purpose of this law is to regulate the entry, transit, residence, and departure of persons in the territory of the State of Bolivia, and to establish institutional coordination spaces that guarantee the rights of Bolivian and foreign nationals, in accordance with the Constitution of the State, international human rights instruments ratified by the State, and applicable regulations. Article 28 establishes that residency for refugees is granted in accordance with Law No. 251 of June 20, 2012, which regulates the refugee status in Bolivia.
