Description

The Decree No. 2019-38 of 23 January 2019 on the powers of prefects to register asylum applications and implement procedures under the Regulation of 26 June 2013 known as "Dublin III", outlines the powers of prefects in France regarding the registration of asylum applications and the implementation of procedures under the Dublin III Regulation, which was established on 26 June 2013. The Dublin III Regulation determines the EU member state responsible for examining an asylum application lodged in one of the member states by a third-country national or a stateless person.
