The Instruction related to the implementation of the Council of the EU decision on 5th of March, for the application of the article 5 of 2001/55/CE directive of 20th July 2021 provides guidelines for implementing the decision of the Council of the European Union dated 5 March 2022, which was taken under Article 5 of the Council Directive 2001/55/CE of 20 July 2001. This directive establishes minimum standards for granting temporary protection in the event of a mass influx of displaced persons and measures to ensure a balance between the efforts made by member states to accommodate these individuals and the consequences of such accommodation.
