This law establishes a framework for governing non‐Surinamese nationals—defining who qualifies as an alien, the conditions under which they may enter and reside (including permanent permits and refugee status), and the grounds for withdrawing those permissions (such as false information, threats to public order, or changed circumstances). It ensures that individuals facing well‐founded fears of persecution cannot be denied entry or expelled.
