Description

The Executive Order on the admission of Aliens to Denmark (BEK nr 552 af 27/05/2024) outlines the rules for non-citizens entering Denmark. Aliens must have a valid visa unless exempt, with exemptions for EU/EEA nationals, Switzerland, and countries with visa waiver agreements. Visa applications must be submitted to Danish diplomatic missions or authorized agencies, including a valid passport, photograph, and fingerprints. Visas can be issued for up to 90 days within a 180-day period and can be refused for false documents, insufficient funds, or security threats. In exceptional cases, visas may be granted for humanitarian reasons, national interests, or international obligations
