Description
The Constitution of El Salvador outlines the rights and responsibilities of citizens and foreigners within the state. Article 3 of the Constitution stipulates that all individuals are equal before the law, and no restrictions shall be imposed on the enjoyment of civil rights based on nationality, race, sex, or religion. El Salvador grants asylum to foreigners wishing to reside in its territory, except in cases specified by law and international law.
