Description
The Constitution of Estonia, adopted in 1992, enshrines fundamental rights and freedoms, including provisions relevant to refugees, foreigners, and the political and administrative structure of the state. The Constitution does not explicitly mention the right to asylum but prohibits at Article 18, torture and inhumane or degrading treatment or punishment.
