Description
The Constitution of Fiji provides that non-citizens lawfully residing in Fiji cannot be expelled arbitrarily, and any expulsion must be supported by a court order or a decision by the Minister responsible for immigration, as prescribed by law. Article 26 of the Constitution of Fiji guarantees equality and freedom from discrimination for all individuals. It stipulates that everyone is equal before the law and entitled to equal protection and benefits, regardless of their race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, or other specified characteristics.
