Description

The Constitution of Lesotho, enacted in 1993, establishes the country as a democratic, sovereign state. In Chapter Four Article 2, the Constitution grants fundamental rights and freedoms to all individuals within the country, including the right to life, personal liberty, equality before the law, and freedom from inhuman treatment.
