Act LV of 1993 on Hungarian Citizenship provides for the cases in which Hungarian citizenship is acquired, the conditions and methods of acquiring Hungarian citizenship, and the possibility of preferential naturalisation. The Act also specifies the rules of the citizenship procedure.
