Description
The Constitution of Tonga serves as the supreme law of the kingdom and is divided into three main parts: the Declaration of Rights, which guarantees fundamental freedoms and protections; the Form of Government, which defines the roles and powers of the executive, legislative, and judicial branches; and Land Ownership and Succession, which regulates property rights and inheritance.
