Description
The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland does not have a single, written constitution but instead operates under an uncodified constitutional framework derived from statute law, common law, conventions, and international agreements. The foundational elements of the constitution can be traced back to 1215 with the signing of the Magna Carta, which, along with subsequent statutes and legal reforms, has evolved into the modern constitutional framework.
