Description

The Immigration Act of the Kingdom of Bhutan was enacted in 2007 by the National Assembly of Bhutan. It establishes comprehensive legal provisions to regulate the entry, residence, and departure of foreigners in Bhutan, and outlines the roles and powers of immigration officers, requirements for admission, visa categories, registration processes, grounds for inadmissibility, and penalties for violations.
