Description

The Decree of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan No. 568 (30 November 2018) establishes the Joint Permanent Commission on Refugee Status Determination within the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Under Article 6 of the Law “On Refugees,” the Decree approves the Commission’s composition and enacts procedures for processing refugee applications, granting, terminating, or revoking refugee status. The Commission is responsible to examine and adjudicate applications for refugee status in accordance with national legislation and international obligations.
