Description

This is Act No. 55/2022 Coll. on some measures related to the situation with Ukraine amending the Asylum Act 480/2002 Coll.  This Law introduces a set of urgent measures to address the impact of the conflict in Ukraine by amending multiple existing Slovak statutes: it expands the Civil Protection Act to include a “mass influx of foreigners,” modifies the Asylum Act to streamline procedures for granting temporary protection (including extending deadlines, defining application processes, and establishing an accommodation allowance for hosts), enhances the Cybersecurity Act with provisions for blocking harmful content related to hybrid threats, and creates a government “mutual aid fund” to finance humanitarian relief.
