This Act establishes the framework governing the entry, stay, and departure of all non-Slovak nationals on Slovak territory. It defines the conditions under which visas and residence permits (temporary, permanent, and tolerated stay) may be issued or revoked, specifies obligations for border control and registration, and outlines procedures for administrative expulsion, detention, and police transport.
