Description

The Decree defines a list of safe countries of origin. Asylum seekers from these countries are presumed to face no significant risk of persecution, thus allowing their asylum claims to be processed under a faster procedure. However, each application still undergoes an individual examination to ensure the asylum seeker is not at risk.
