Description

These are the Rules on the procedure concerning the transfer of persons enjoying temporary protection. They implements the EU Temporary Protection Directive (2001/55/EC) by laying out Slovenia’s procedure for transferring individuals who hold temporary protection status to another Member State. It defines how and when transfers can take place (requiring agreement between Slovenia and the receiving country, as well as the beneficiary’s consent), specifies which personal data must be shared, describes the form and content of the transfer document, and clarifies the rights and obligations of persons whose protection is terminated in Slovenia once they have been admitted elsewhere.
