This is the Foreigners Act, which regulates every aspect of non-Slovenian nationals’ presence in the country. It defines who is considered a “foreign national,” specifies the conditions and procedures for entering (visas, border checks) and exiting Slovenia, and sets out the rules for short- and long-term residence (types of permits, application processes, renewal/withdrawal).
