Description

Legislative Decree No. 85 of April 7, 2003, implements Directive 2001/55/EC, which concerns the granting of temporary protection in the event of a mass influx of displaced persons and cooperation within the European Community. This decree establishes the legal framework for providing immediate and temporary protection to individuals fleeing situations of armed conflict, endemic violence, or systematic human rights violations, particularly when there is a sudden and large-scale arrival of displaced persons.
