Description

Belarus's Constitution was enacted in 1994 with Amendments through 2022.  The political and administrative structure is delineated, including the judiciary's role in adjudicating legal matters. Article 12 states that Belarus may grant the right of asylum to persons persecuted in other states for political or religious beliefs or their ethnic identity.
