Description
The Constitution of the Union of the Comoros, initially adopted in 2001 and amended in 2018, establishes the nation as a sovereign, unitary, and democratic republic. Foreigners residing or sojourning in the Comoros enjoy the same rights, the same freedoms, the same guarantees and have the same duties as the Comorian citizens, with the exception of the political rights and the rights and duties reserved for national citizens by law or by the Constitution, Article 18.
