Description

The Constitution of Mongolia establishes the country as a sovereign, democratic, and independent state. Article 18 (3) establishes that "Foreign citizens or stateless persons persecuted for their beliefs, political or other activities pursuing justice, may be granted asylum in Mongolia on the basis of their well-founded requests."
