Description

The Constitution establishes the framework for governance, outlining the structure of federal and emirate authorities. Foreigners in the UAE are entitled to rights and freedoms as per international agreements to which the UAE is a party, while also being responsible for corresponding duties in Article 40. Additionally, it prohibits the extradition of political refugees in Article 38.
