This Decree formally brings Egypt into the 1967 Protocol Relating to the Status of Refugees by declaring its accession, mandating the President to deposit the instrument of accession with the UN Secretary-General, and requiring its publication in the Official Gazette to trigger its entry into force.York on January 31, 1967.
