Selected provisions
The interested parties may challenge the registrations by lodging a recourse with the Ministry of Justice. The recourse must be submitted to the Central Registration Office or to the Civil Registry Office of the residence of the person concerned within 15 days from the date of becoming aware of the grounds for the challenge.
Aquele que pretenda obter a concessão da naturalização deve requerê-la ao Ministro do Interior, mencionando no respectivo requerimento o nome completo, a data de nascimento, o estado, a filiação, nacionalidade e naturalidade, o lugar de residência atual e a atividade que exerce em Moçambique;
O requerimento deve ser instruído com os seguintes documentos:
a) Certidão do registro de nascimento;
b) Prova de residência habitual e regular em Moçambique pelo período mínimo de cinco anos;
c) Certificado do registro criminal ou documento equivalente.
