Description

The Order creates and outlines the organization, and responsibilities of the Eligibility Commission for Refugee Status in the Republic of Congo. This commission, placed under the oversight of the National Refugee Assistance Committee, is tasked with evaluating and determining refugee status applications. It ensures the protection and legal support of refugees, studies asylum requests, and advises on expulsions or resettlements. The commission is composed of representatives from various ministries, including Foreign Affairs, Interior, and Justice, as well as the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).
