The Interim Constitution establishes a written set of rules governing Azad Jammu & Kashmir’s institutions—legislature, executive and judiciary—pending the region’s final status determination.

Article 23 - Right to education.

The State shall provide free and compulsory education to all children of the age of five to sixteen years in such manner as may be determined by law.
