Description

The Commission for Human Rights and Good Governance (CHRAGG) Act of Tanzania, enacted in 2001 (Chapter 391), regulates the Commission's functions, powers, and privileges, focusing on promoting, protecting, and preserving human rights, as well as good governance.

Section 6.1 – Functions of the Commission

The functions of the Commission shall be... (e) to conduct inquiries into matters involving the violation of human rights and contravention of principles of administrative justice.
