Description
An Act to prohibit the employment of children and to restrict the employment of adolescents in certain occupations and processes. It is necessary to prohibit the employment of children and to restrict the employment of adolescents in certain occupations; and, to deal with ancillary matters.
Selected provisions
Section 3 - Prohibition on employment.
(1) An occupier shall not employ or permit a child to work in the establishment.
(2) An occupier shall not employ or permit an adolescent to perform any hazardous work in the establishment.
