Description
The Djibouti Constitution sets out a multi-party and human-rights based democracy, with Islam as the state religion. As such, one of its key values is equality and non-discrimination, while recognizing Arabic and French as official languages. Its government features both a democratically appointed president and an executive body, along with a parliament.
